About GBS:

The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships, as well as Marketing Science. GBS is a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and ambitious client group, and our HRBPs who support them are too! We are excited to continue adding to our Human Resources team to attract, engage, and retain top talent to drive the continued growth of the organization.

About the Team:

The Business Training and Development team is dedicated to enhancing the skills and performance of the Global Business Solution (GBS) Sales teams across the Middle East, Turkey, Africa, Pakistan (METAP) and Central Southern Asia (CSA) regions. This dynamic and innovative team designs, develops, and delivers comprehensive training programs tailored to meet the unique needs of these diverse markets. By leveraging the latest educational methodologies and technology, the team ensures that all sales employees have access to the resources and support they need to excel in their roles and drive business success.The Business Training and Development team plays a critical role in empowering the GBS Sales teams in the METAP & CSA regions, driving organizational growth, and maintaining a competitive edge in these markets. Through their expertise and dedication, they help build a knowledgeable, skilled, and motivated sales force ready to meet the challenges of today's business environment.

The BTD team is seeking a Training Specialist with a minimum of 5 years of experience to join our dynamic Business Training and Development team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in learning technology, competency frameworks, Training Needs Analysis (TNA), sales onboarding, training administration and instructional design. The Training Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing training programs that enhance the skills and competencies of our employees, particularly in the sales domain.

Responsibilities:

Sales Onboarding:

- Design and deliver effective sales onboarding programs to ensure new hires are well-prepared for their roles.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to tailor training content to the specific needs of the sales team.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales onboarding programs and make improvements as needed.

Training Administration:

- Manage the logistics of training programs, including scheduling, coordination, and communication with participants.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards in training delivery.

Learning Technology:

- Implement and manage learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
- Utilize e-learning authoring tools and platforms to create and deliver online training content.
- Stay current with technological trends and advancements in the field of learning and development.

Competency Framework:

- Experience and understanding of competency frameworks that align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Conduct competency assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs.
- Design and implement training programs to address identified competency gaps.

Training Needs Analysis (TNA):

- Conduct comprehensive training needs assessments across the organization.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to identify and assess training and development needs that are aligned across regional business needs.
- Develop training plans and strategies based on TNA findings.

Instructional Design:

- Develop instructional materials, job aids, and e-learning modules.
- Apply instructional design principles to create engaging and effective training content.
- Utilize various instructional methodologies to cater to different learning styles and preferences.

Requirements:

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, PR, communication or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, with a focus on learning technology and instructional design.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing competency frameworks and conducting TNAs.
- Strong background in sales training and onboarding programs.
- Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and LMS platforms.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Strong organizational and project management skills a must
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working with sales teams, account management and service workflows
- Knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital and mobile marketing
- Knowledge of the self-serve platform, auction, and biddable form of digital advertising buying
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools to measure training effectiveness.
