JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Business Development to lead our business development team in the legal industry in UAE, Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and executing strategies to expand our client base, and leading a team of business development professionals to achieve company goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve organizational targets and expand the client base in the legal/professional services industry.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business development professionals, providing guidance and support to drive performance and achieve sales targets.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and potential clients through networking, industry research, and market analysis.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives that align with business development goals.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business expansion and growth.
- Prepare and present business development reports, performance metrics, and sales forecasts to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Negotiate and finalize business deals, contracts, and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial and profitable outcomes.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, regulations, and legal requirements to ensure compliance and ethical business conduct.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote the company's services and build a strong professional network.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or other relevant post-graduate qualification is a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior business development or sales leadership role within the legal/professional services industry in UAE.
- Demonstrated success in driving business growth, achieving sales targets, and expanding client base in a competitive market environment.
- Strong leadership, team management, and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing business development team.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective business development strategies and initiatives.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, market trends, and performance metrics to make informed business decisions.
- Keen understanding of legal and professional services, industry regulations, and market dynamics in the region.
- Proactive, result-driven, and goal-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and other relevant business development tools and platforms.
