Technical Skills
To succeed in this demanding role an applicant will need to demonstrate the following:
• University degree from a reputable university in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields; a Masters degree/MBA will be a plus
• Evidence of strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Structured thinking skills combined with creativity
• Awareness of new technologies and their commercial impacts
• Ability to gather, review and assess large volumes of technical data and distil the key strategic insights
• Ability to evaluate complex challenges and deliver insightful recommendations that can be practically executed
• Strong numerical capabilities combined with sound commercial acumen
• Ability to build financial models that support our recommendations to clients
• Strong slide writing capabilities
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills
• Other language skills would be a strong bonus
Requirements:
Experience and skills required for the job• 2 to 4 years experience of working for a strategy house, big 4 firm, public sectsor organisation or central strategy / corporate development team of a large company
• Ability to display involvement in business development activity e.g. building relationships with client counterparts during engagements
• Experience of contributing to thought leadership and knowledge management activities
• Lead workstreams and take responsibility for small teams
