Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Tender Civil & Architectural Engineer with a strong background in the engineering or construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing cost estimates, developing technical proposals, and ensuring compliance with client specifications and industry standards. This role requires a deep understanding of the Saudi market, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.

Key Accountability Areas:

- Project Analysis : Analyze project requirements to identify key technical and commercial aspects critical to successful tendering.
- Cost Estimation & Documentation : Prepare accurate cost estimates, detailed timelines, and comprehensive tender documents that meet client and project needs.
- Technical Proposal Development : Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client needs and develop tailored technical proposals that align with those requirements.
- Contract Review & Recommendations : Review contract terms and conditions, providing informed recommendations to ensure favorable and compliant agreements.
- Tender Evaluation & Negotiation : Participate in tender evaluation meetings, effectively negotiating with clients to secure favorable terms.
- Compliance & Standards : Ensure all technical proposals and project plans comply with client specifications, industry standards, and legal requirements.
- Market Awareness : Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments, particularly within the Saudi market.
- Project Handover Support : Support the project management team in the smooth handover of successful tenders to ensure continuity and project success.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of proven experience in tendering or project management within the engineering or construction industry.
- Extensive experience in the Saudi market is highly desirable.
- Strong technical and commercial acumen, with the ability to analyze complex project requirements and develop innovative solutions.
- Proficient in tendering software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
