Job Description
Role Overview:
Responsible for preparing engineering documents, undertake perform or supervision on installations, commission & start up, cover
site attendance for all required project implementation site activities including installation, supervision on installation, commissioning, and startup, also required. Warranty site visits and warranty contracts related visits. In addition, shall be able to carry out site surveys, solution design, instruments selection, solutions integration, able to learn/aware with tendering, projects costing and pricing.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts site survey and technical meeting when necessary and submits site survey report to engineering and service manager, project team and pre-sales team.
- Prepare engineering documents and submits to engineering and service manager for review.
- Prepare technical and commercial offers.
- Perform or supervise installations for the assigned projects, and acts as a technical consultant to the client to the work undertaken.
- Prepares the descriptive technical report on an occurring problem and submits it to engineering and service manager.
- Follows up work progress with projects teams.
- Coordinate with client to execute site activities with the project schedule and time frame.
- Manage Subcontractors at site.
- Undertake all technical responsibilities.
- Guarantee the delivery of all technical deliverables to the client and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure efficient processes are implemented, with optimum cost and with compliance to allowed time frame, and meeting tendering activities due dates.
Requirements:
Personal Skills- Very good communications and interpersonal skills
- Very good command of English
Technical Skills
- Preferably Experience in fire alarm and firefighting systems (Gas and Foam suppression systems, Gas and Flame Detection) design, installation, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Experience in relevant engineering, calculations, and design
- Experience in AutoCAD 2D and 3D, Revit is highly recommended.
Education
- Bachelor of Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical major.
