Job Description

- Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
- Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
- Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
- Comply with health and safety regulations, guidelines and procedures
- Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve quality.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to interact in a positive manner and prevent or resolve conflict
- Be a part of the team assisting on other tasks as needed

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is a plus
- Passion for coffee and tea, with a desire to learn about different types of beverages.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
- Attention to detail for beverage preparation and presentation.
