Rotating Maintenance Technician

Job description / Role

Wood is currently recruiting for Rotating Maintenance Technician to strengthen our team in Basra, Iraq 5/2, we are only considering applications from local Iraqi nationals preferably residing in Iraq, Basra

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Experience in Preventative Mechanical Maintenance
- Installation, inspection, repair of Rotating Mechanical equipment for hazardous (classified) areas.
- Effective communicator - can understand and speak good level of English
- Knowledge of oil and gas best practice safety and control of work processes
- Experience in all rotating equipment such as compressors (Reciprocating, Screw, Centrifugal, Turbo Expander etc), pumps (Centrifugal, Screw, Reciprocating, Diaphragm etc)
- Experience in alignment of all rotating equipment compressor and motor shaft also pump and motor

- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive and organizational skills
- Mechanical Engineering Degree (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Passion for electronics and technology
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Degree in Mechanical Diploma / Equivalent
