Sr. QA/QC Engineer ARCH

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. QA/QC Engineer ARCH to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of architectural construction projects in the building construction industry. The role requires a keen attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of architectural engineering principles.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality control procedures for architectural construction projects.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with architectural specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Review architectural designs and plans to identify potential quality or compliance concerns.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of quality control processes, inspections, and non-conformances.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
- Participate in the selection and qualification of subcontractors and suppliers, evaluating their quality control processes and performance.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the understanding of quality control requirements and best practices among project stakeholders.

- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC engineer in architectural construction, with a focus on ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of architectural design principles, construction techniques, and materials.
- Certifications in quality management and quality control (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools and systems for quality control documentation and analysis.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English. Proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
