Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose

Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of mechanical equipment's, overseeing and coordinating the mechanical maintenance activities.

Key Accountability Areas

Maintenance Planning:
- Develop maintenance schedules and plans for equipment and machinery, ensuring that preventive maintenance tasks are performed regularly to avoid breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan.

Troubleshooting:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, coordinating repairs, and ensuring that equipment is restored to working order as quickly as possible.

Equipment Inspections:
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly. Develop inspection checklists and maintain records of inspections and maintenance activities.

Training and Development:
- Provides guidance and training to maintenance technicians, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks effectively.

Safety Compliance:
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with safety protocols and procedures. Conducting safety audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

spare parts Inventory:
- Coordinate the ordering spare parts and equipment as needed to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.

Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment histories, and maintenance logs.

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:
- Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors and show openness to directions and feedback.

Delivery:
- Use tools and machinery within efficient cost and time.
- Execute the operational activities as per delivery schedules and work instructions.

Problem-Solving:
- Assist to solve any related issues arise and escalate any complex operational problems.

Quality:
- Implement the quality standards for products, processes, or related activities.

Business Process:
- Execute the tasks as per work routines and instructions.

Compliance:
- Comply to related policy, procedures, and processes.

Requirements:

Academic Qualification
Diploma Degree in Mechanical Institue

Work Experience
2 to 5 Years

Technical / Functional Competencies
- Equipment Maintenance
- Maintenance Scheduling
- Preventative Maintenance
