Description

The key responsibilities for the role are as follows:

* Manage and optimize transportation, warehousing, import/export operations, and customer service functions.
* Lead a team of 25 employees, including supervisors and blue-collar workers, ensuring efficiency and performance.
* Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with major clients such as SABIC, Ma'aden, and Aramco.
* Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing inventory costs.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales, and operations to meet organizational objectives.
* Implement and adhere to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor and analyze departmental P/L (Profit and Loss) to drive financial performance improvements.
* Utilize SAP or other ERP systems for logistics and supply chain management.
* Lead training and development initiatives to enhance team capabilities and performance.

* Demonstrated success in managing relationships with major multinational clients ensuring high service levels and customer satisfaction.
* Skilled in leading and developing a diverse team of 25+ employees, fostering a culture of collaboration, motivation, and continuous improvement.
* Experience in managing departmental P/L (Profit and Loss), analyzing financial data, and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
* Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, adept at presenting and negotiating with stakeholders across different functions.
* Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is advantageous, along with proficiency in MS Office applications for reporting and analysis.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively prioritize tasks, and resolve complex operational challenges.
* A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required, ensuring a solid foundation of theoretical knowledge coupled with practical experience.
