Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Description
- Ensure that GA HSE Standards are implemented at site level.
- Ensure the compliance with KSA local regulations and client's requirements at the site.
- Participate in carrying out projects risk and impact assessments.
- Identify the work related hazardous and ensure that all hazardous are assessed, communicated, and properly controlled.
- Review project's HSE plans after any changes and report any required modification.
- Prepare, retain, and report weekly and monthly safety statistics records.
- Carry out the required inspections and retain the inspection records.
- Put actions to minimize the wastes generated from the site and increase recycling. Keep the records of generated wastes.
- Put actions to manage and reduce environmental impact and risks.
- Ensure that the emergency preparedness plans are implemented and communicated with the project's staff.
- Report safety opportunities, observations, near misses and incidents.
- Investigate Safety Observation, near misses & accidents.
- Conduct induction training for new workers and communicate the HSE policies, plans and procedures with them.
- Conduct periodical HSE trainings and awareness sessions for site workers to Promote a positive Health and Safety attitude amongst project's staff and raise Employees' awareness about environmental issues
- Ensure that all site activities are assessed, and proper control measures are in place prior starting any activity.
- Monitor the site activity and report any violations or division from the HSE plans.
- Stop any unsafe conditions or acts that seem to cause incident.

Requirements:

Personal Skills
- Commitment
- Discipline
- Very good communication skills
- Good command of English
- Willing to work on remote sites
- Willing to travel across KSA.
- Prepare written reports on the project's HSE performance.

Technical Skills
- Certified as a Safety Practitioner from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development KSA is highly preferable (KSA Only)
- Exposure to ISO 45001, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001
- NEBOSH IGC certified.
- Familiar with country-related HSE Laws and Legislations.
- Knowledge of International Standard (OSHA - NFPA - etc...) is preferable.
- Member of at least one of the following: ASSP, ESSP, NFPA, or IOSH.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
