The project:

This is an opportunity to be involved in the delivery of major sports stadiums and associated projects in Saudi Arabia. Mace is currently delivering the programme which will require high-calibre and experienced people to lead teams throughout each phase of the project.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Driving the implementation and compliance of business health safety and wellbeing (HSW) policies, procedures, guidance notes and standards on assigned project/s.
• Overseeing preparation of external ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and other applicable standards.
• Monitoring and assisting with the creation and coordination of the inspection and audit schedule, undertakes and provides support for operational HSW inspections and audits.
• Providing Input and participates in the development of new and updates to existing standards.
• Analysing and interpreting results of reporting, audits, corrective actions, operations reports and key performance indicators (KPI’)s, ensuring mechanisms are in place to enable accurate measurement, reporting and rectification - identifies gaps for improvement and develops mitigation plans with operations to support rectification.
• Contributing to and managing incident investigations in line with business procedures.
• Seeking opportunities for continuous improvements/improving working processes.
• Develops effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. Effectively manages stakeholders.
• Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/ programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
• Relevant industry qualification (or equivalent).
• 15+ years’ experience working in similar / relevant filed is essential for client approval.
• A relevant bachelor’s degree qualification.
• Membership of relevant professional body such as IOSH, NEBOSH, OHSA or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HSW legislation.
• Relevant HSW industry or sector experience.
• Good communications and presentation skills.
• Arabic language knowledge is a significant advantage.
