Head of Operational Excellence – Riyadh

CLIENT

Linum Consult’s client is a major international construction consultancy. They are currently seeking a Manager to oversee their Operational Excellence Department in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reviewing and updating policies, processes, and procedures, quality assurance, continuous improvement, risk management, training, and project monitoring and reporting
• Develop and ratify department operating structures and department operating processes & procedures
• Assess the capability of the existing PMO department staff and recommend appropriate roles and responsibilities
• Prepare the department knowledge transfer programme, which includes comprehensive on the job learning
• Ensure the Stage-Gate Process is applied consistently to projects
• Review, validate, and consolidate project monthly dashboards and reports, highlighting any concerns

Requirements:

PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree qualification in Engineering
• At least 20 years’ experience in project management environments on large projects, including overall responsibility for setting up and running a PMO
• Excellent knowledge and experience in professional project management processes and procedures
• Good knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up work processes
• Previous involvement in continuous improvement and talent development
• Strong skills in management, personnel administration, and communication
• Previous experience working internationally and/or in global organisations

Salary:
SAR 50,000 to 55,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
