The project:

This opportunity is to be involved in a Major mixed-use development, in Riyadh. The programme consists of over 200 projects including Cultural and heritage assets, F&B, Retail and Hotels, commercial buildings, and educational facilities.

Mace is currently providing programme management and looking for high-calibre experienced people.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Governance Frameworks: review, design, apply and/ or implement robust governance frameworks, standards, and guidelines to manage the contracted SOW.
• Governance Implementation: ensure the governance framework/ processes complement the current SOW. Provide independent assurance that the project teams are addressing their governance and compliance issues. Conduct a review of current governance under the programme and assessing for gaps and improvements.
• Governance Meetings: serve as the secretary for governance committees and meetings. This involves setting agendas, arranging meetings, recording proceedings, and disseminating decisions to relevant stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Management: support stakeholder engagement with governance and compliance issues and coordinate with all stakeholders (Mace and Programme) to ensure all activities, outputs, and outcomes related to governance processes are in line with current processes and contractual obligations.
• Continuous Improvement: facilitate forums to identify best practices and lessons learned. Support in the continuous improvement of governance and assurance processes by incorporating feedback, lessons learned, and leading industry developments.
• Governance reporting: prepare and disseminate regular assurance reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings, risks, and recommendations. Excellent attention to detail, able to validate & check inputs, recording & reports produced, providing concise commentary & analysis.
• Internal audits: leading internal audits and assessments to identify areas of risk, non-compliance, and opportunities for process improvements. Liaising with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and other stakeholders to manage compliance reviews and audits, ensuring timely resolution of any issues identified.
• Collecting business requirements and using them to guide the collaborative implementation of a governance and compliance protocol/system.
• Collaborating with senior management to establish and communicate a clear governance and assurance strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Training internal (Mace) and external (programme) team members on governance and assurance practices, fostering a culture of compliance and accountability.
• Establishing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of governance and assurance activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Excellent attention to detail, able to validate & check inputs, recording & reports produced, providing concise commentary & analysis.

Requirements:

You’ll need to have:

• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and have relevant work experience working on high valued projects/programmes for a project management consultancy business, which are required for immigration and client approval.
• Degree qualifications are digitally competent and can build trusted relationships with stakeholders.
• Experience in governance, risk management, compliance, and assurance roles.
• Create and deliver presentations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You’ll also have:

• In addition to mandatory training courses: Achieved professional qualification (e.g. APM, MSP. PPC etc).
• Relevant CSCS Card, if applicable.
