Development Manager - Bahraini National

Our client is a leading hospitality group with a long history of providing exceptional service. The company's portfolio includes a variety of properties, both domestically and internationally. The company is committed to expansion and has recently opened a new property in Europe. They are currently looking to hire a Development Manager to be based in Riyadh. Preference will be given to Bahraini nationals.

• Working closely with the Head of Development, the role will include all aspects of development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia including on market research, sourcing and screening potential projects.
• Overseeing the analysis of projects' potential; preparing contracts and attaining regulatory approvals.
• The incumbent will be responsible for surfacing potential opportunities for growth by adding new businesses to the hotel's portfolio. These may be hotel new builds, conversions or rebrands mainly under franchised agreements or restaurants / retail or real estate opportunities.
• The role will work with members of the Strategic Development team, in coordination with partners primarily in Bahrain HQ & Operations, to support companies acquisition efforts at every phase of the deal process, from initial deal identification, to feasibility, to underwriting and investment analysis, to diligence and deal structuring, to final approval by the Senior Leadership Team & Board of Directors for client.

• Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in a Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance or hospitality discipline
• Experience of over 10 years in property advisory or similar would be an advantage.
• Previous experience in a corporate environment within the preparation and negotiation of contracts is required.
