Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities

- Financial Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's short-term and long-term goals. Provide financial insight and guidance to support decision-making and business growth.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, and reporting to ensure efficient resource allocation and risk management.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports, and financial statements. Present findings and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks. Ensure appropriate internal controls are in place to protect the company's assets.
- Funding and Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions. Oversee capital-raising efforts, debt financing, and financial negotiations.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with all financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control operational costs, ensuring financial efficiency across all departments. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement.
- Technology and Financial Systems: Oversee the implementation and optimization of financial management systems, ensuring the use of the latest technology for accurate and efficient financial reporting.
- Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to drive overall business success.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- Proven experience as a CFO, preferably in a tech company or fast-growing industry.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, corporate finance, and information analysis.
- Expertise in managing investor relations and capital-raising strategies.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with financial software and systems, including ERP systems.
- Familiarity with financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance in the technology sector.
