Villa Supervisor

Job description / Role

This position is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of guest villas. This role ensures that all housekeeping staff adhere to the hotel's standards of excellence, providing guests with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

- Supervise and support the housekeeping team, including villa attendants.
- Conduct daily briefings and allocate tasks to staff.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing training to existing staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company standards.
- Inspect guest villas, corridors, and public areas to ensure they meet the hotel's cleanliness standards.
- Address any deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Conduct random spot checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenities.
- Ensure proper usage and storage of cleaning supplies.
- Order supplies as needed and keep accurate records.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints regarding housekeeping services.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing high-quality service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Maintain records of staff attendance, performance, and any incidents.
- Ensure all housekeeping staff follow health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to manager.
- Work closely with other departments, such as maintenance and front office, to ensure seamless operations.

- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality-related certification is a plus
- Proven experience in housekeeping or villa or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position
- Good supervisory and team management skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
