Stockroom Manager

Job description / Role

The stockroom manager is responsible for overseeing the organization and management of inventory in a retail setting. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing goods, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records. The stockroom manager is also responsible for overseeing a team of stockroom associates and ensuring that all stockroom processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
- The stockroom manager is responsible for managing all aspects of stockroom, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods. Ensure products are received, unpacked, and stored in a timely and efficient manner
- The stockroom manager is responsible for overseeing a team of stockroom associates. This involves providing training and guidance to ensure that all stockroom processes are carried out accurately and efficiently. The stockroom manager is also responsible for scheduling and delegating tasks to staff
- The stockroom manager is responsible for ensuring that the stockroom is organized and clean at all times

- Previous experience in stockroom management, preferably in a retail setting
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in computer programs and stockroom management software
