Senior FP&A Expert

CLIENT

Linum Consult’s client is a major energy company operating out of Qatar. They are currently in need of a Senior Financial Planning and Analysis Expert to support the Corporate Planning, Performance, and Investor Relations departments to be based in Doha.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Managing the long-term business planning, and defining business planning guidelines, timeline, key assumptions, and standard templates.
• Developing and maintaining the business plan booklet and other budget-related reports and documentation
• Developing policies and procedures for planning with the aim of enhancing standards and increasing accuracy and efficiency of the finance planning process in coordination with the department manager and other team members
• Performing business plan sensitivities analysis for credit metrics analysis and capital allocation purposes
• Developing and implementing early warning systems that will help the Executive Team in detecting and handling matters of strategic importance
• Preparing investment evaluation reports highlighting the reasons for deviation by key drivers
• Providing support to the Business Development department during pre-development or pre-acquisition phases
• Preparing valuations for the company or individual assets by using various techniques and methodologies

PROFILE

• Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration. Preferably have an MBA or master’s in Finance
• At least 6-8 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, with 3 years in Financial Modelling
• Familiarity with market-leading ERP systems and planning & management reporting systems (Oracle preferably)
• Ideally have previous experience of working in Qatar or other Gulf countries
• Knowledge of international energy markets within large multicultural companies
• Fluent in spoken and written English

Salary:
QAR 30,000 to 32,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
