IT Assistant Manager

Job description / Role

• Oversee the production and operational activities of the Bank, ensuring seamless business continuity and optimal performance.
• Provide comprehensive daily IT support to ensure the efficient operation of all technical systems and address any issues promptly.
• Assist the Head in driving the successful implementation of major projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Head, contributing to the overall success and functionality of the IT department.

Experienced in:
• Extensive knowledge in system installation, network maintenance, and implementation of robust information security protocols.
• Hands-on experience in Server Room maintenance, with expertise in operating Huawei servers and managing network equipment, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Proficient in using and managing Office Automation (OA) application software to enhance office efficiency and productivity.
• Experience in software programming is a valuable asset, enabling the customization and development of tailored software solutions.
• Capable of drafting and presenting comprehensive monthly and quarterly IT and Information Security (IS) reports, providing actionable insights and performance metrics to support strategic decision-making.

Education Preferred:
• Master Degree.

Other Certifications Preferred:
• CCNA, CISSP, OCP

About the Company

In October 2008, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) formally entered into the Middle East region, establishing Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Middle East) Limited (regulated by the DFSA) and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (QFC) Branch (authorized by the QFCRA) in quick succession and commencing businesses. ICBC will keep on improving its network within the Middle East region by relying on abundance of market resources, insistence on prioritizing commercial banking, striving to develop investment banking and asset management, so as to strengthen ICBC's influence and competitiveness, and become the most influential and respectable bank in the region.
