Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Performs drainage hydraulic modelling and designs and ensures that design meets Client requirements.
• Performs specialized design computations and analysis to check the accuracy of design.
• Understands and applies commonly used company design standards and methods and utilize them to check designs.
• Prepares design reports and technical notes where necessary.
• Checks orthographic (2D) and isometric (3D) drawings prepared by others. May provide direction to a team of checking personnel, ensuring the mathematical accuracy of the drawings produced.
• Collaborates with other Discipline Engineers to ensure fully coordinated and quality of design.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of similar experience in hydraulic modelling using InfoWorks and design of surface-ground water, foul sewer and TSE networks in Doha, Qatar.
• Master of Engineering major Water Engineering from a reputable University is preferrable.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from a reputable University.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Substantial experience in Qatar Projects
