Employment: Full Time

Our client school is looking for a candidate to be the Assistant Head of Early Years . Assist the Head of Early Years to secure and sustain effective teaching and learning throughout the Early Years Dept and to monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and standards of student achievement, using benchmarks and setting targets for improvement. To maximise the contribution of staff to improve the quality of education provided and standards achieved and ensure that constructive working relationships are formed between staff and students.

To implement strategies which secure high standards of behaviour and attendance. To monitor, evaluate and review classroom practice and promote improvement strategies to ensure that underperformance is challenged at all levels. To implement and sustain effective systems for the management of staff performance, incorporating continuous Professional Development. Will have teaching load as assigned by the school management.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Education or Early Years Development from a recognized University in the UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, ZA (From the UK preferred as the British Curriculum is taught at this school )

TEACHING LICENSE FROM ONE OF THE FOLLOWING COUNTRIES : UK, US, CA, AU, NZ, or ZA

- Must have excellent English communications skills

Must have excellent classroom management skills and able to deal effectively with student behaviour issues
- Required Experience:
- Minimum 3 years teaching experience at KG or Early Years grade levels (In the UK preferred)
- Minimum 2 years experience as Assistant Head of Deputy of Early Years or similar Leadership position
- Culturally sensitive, dependable, flexible and able to work in a continuously changing environment

Monthly Salary Range:
- TAX FREE Monthly salary range of QAR 14,000 - 16,000 depending on experience and qualifications

Housing:
- Furnished 2 bedroom accommodation or a Housing Allowance depending on family status
- Utilities paid QAR 300 for Singles and 500 for Married

Health Insurance Coverage:
- Medical insurance for employee and one dependent (spouse or child)

Annual Air Tickets:
- Annual air tickets provided for employee and one nominated dependent (can either be spouse or child)

Leave:
- In addition to official holidays, paid leave is allocated as per academic calendar and as per country Labour law. Minimum 30 work days per year plus Term breaks and National holidays

Dependant School Fees:
- 100% discount for 1 child attending same school as employee

Visa & Medical Check Fees:
- Resident Fees will be paid for employees only inside Qatar. Employee is responsible for fees for dependents

End Of Service Benefit:
- Gratuity of 21 days of basic salary for each year worked as per Labor Law in country

Contract Period:
- 1-2 year contract - renewable

Location:
- Qatar - Doha

Paperwork Requirements:
- Notarized and Attested academic degrees, teaching certificates, transcripts, marriage and dependent birth certificates. You will be advised of school requirements

Start Date:
- August 2024
