QA/HSE Lead

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading Facilities Management Service Provider with a head office in Muscat, Oman. They are currently seeking an QA/HSE Lead to join their team and manage Quality Assurance procedures, guidelines, policies based on the ISO 9001:2015 Standard. Advice, supports and partner with senior leaders and site operation on QHSE strategies, initiatives, and activities to deliver continuous improvement in Health Safety Work culture and to assist in the development and implementation of health and safety related policies and procedures in the workplace.

Key tasks and duties
- Assist in the development of HSE process, procedures tools and workflow.
- Maintain and analyse all statistical data on a weekly, monthly and quarterly period. Communicate trends and important issues to management.
- Review and assist with yearly COR Audit Action Plans and provide support to achieve target dates.
- Assist in communication of health and safety trends to management and operations to obtain support and participation in problem-solving processes.

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the field of Quality, preferably in HSE & Food Safety, with at least 3 years of internal auditing
- Bachelor’s degree in HSE, preferred in quality.
- Internal auditor in ISO 9001/2015 and preferred Lead auditor in ISO 9001/2015
- Knowledgeable in ISO Standards for Occupational Health & Safety Management System, Environment Management System and Food Safety Management System and HACCP
- Ability to understand, develop suitable and sufficient HSE policy.
- Ability to design, implement and maintain HSE Management Systems.
- Ability to design, undertake, review and communicate HSE site visits and Inspections.
- Ability to design, implement and undertake HSE Audit programmes to obtain external certification.
