JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Restructure and improve the order management and fulfillment process.
* Improve and manage all warehouse operations to ensure accurate and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
* Implement industry best practices for inventory control, space utilization, returns management and order fulfillment.
* Develop and implement strategies for efficient transportation and distribution of goods.
* Coordinate with third-party logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery and cost-effective transportation solutions.
* Train and lead a team of 47 warehouse and logistics professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
* Provide guidance and direction to ensure the team meets performance targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as SL, OTIF, Fill Rate, OOS, Inventory Turn etc.
* Plan and prepare the overall warehouse budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
* Stay up to date with latest trends and advancements in Operations and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
* Proven experience (15 years) in warehouse operations for an FMCG business, five years in management positions, with a focus on warehouse management and logistics.
* Experience in warehouse process improvements, restructuring and the implementation of a WMS.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
* Excellent leadership and team management skills.
* Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in operations and supply chain management.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
