JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Synopsis

The SEO Technical Officer will be responsible to conduct site-wide audits and suggest improvement areas to improve page performance and keyword rankings. They will collaborate closely with teams in Digital & E-Commerce to align SEO process and manage regular content update on the website. The role requires a deep understanding of technical SEO and how to improve crawlability of the website that increases the visibility in search engines.

Accountabilities

- Conduct thorough technical audits of website to identify and resolve SEO issues.
- Knowledge of basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge to make content updates and modifications on the website.
- Work with Content Management Systems (CMS) for efficient content updates and troubleshooting of technical issues.
- Perform in-depth keyword research to identify valuable keywords for content optimization on a page.
- Optimize website content, including meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking structure.
- Collaborate with content creators to develop high-quality, SEO-friendly content.
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
- Perform analysis of technical issues related to SEO performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support with SEO requirements.
- Maintain a content versioning and tracking changes to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct regular content audits and updates to ensure accuracy, relevance, and quality of website content.

Requirements:
Education & Experience

- Minimum 5 years of experience working in a client or agency SEO role, airline/ travel experience desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices, algorithms, and ranking factors.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Adobe/Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate about SEO terminologies.
