Sous Chef

Description:
The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen. This includes overseeing food preparation, ensuring the quality and presentation of dishes, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high culinary standards.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities.
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure they adhere to quality and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes.
- Assist in the development of new recipes and menus.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain equipment.

Requirements:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
- Monitor food costs and assist in budget management.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to food.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
