Senior Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Review journal entries of junior accountants to ensure accuracy
• Review Trial Balance and Prepare financial reports
• Maintain the general ledger, prepare VAT returns , assist with audit preparations, and perform other accounting duties as assigned
• Perform account reconciliations
• Monitoring Inter Company reconciliation and clearing hanging entries
• Preparation of MIS report as per the requirement of the Management
• Financial Budget Preparation
• Review Yearend schedules before submission to Auditor

Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• CA / Cost Accountant / CMA, will be preferred

Experience and Skill:
• Proven 4 to 5 years of experience as an Accountant / Senior accountant
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
• Working knowledge in ERP system (Preferably Microsoft D365 / Dynamics AX 2012)
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Knowledge in UAE VAT and Corporate Tax Law
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in Manufacturing Unit will be preferred
