JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

• Managing (Create, Modify, Delete) student and teacher account information on multiple software systems such as power school, managebac, Turnitin, Seesaw, School booking site, CAT4, MAP and Alef
• Maintaining school calendar settings on PowerSchool for both Elementary and Secondary
• Administering NWEA MAP, CAT4, PASS, PISA online system and preparing & importing the student roster for testing.
• Day-to-Day support for software usage for both staff and students
• Updating house information and ESIS number on a regular basis

Other duties as assigned by Principals
• Powerschool
• Manage Students and Teachers Accounts Information (Create, Modify, Delete)
• Add courses/sections in PowerSchool.
• Generate reports required by education staff(Attendance/Student Information, etc, eSIS report)
• Day to day support for PowerSchool usage for Students, Parents, and Teachers.
• Work hand in hand with the Application team to ensure smooth flow of the entire school tasks.
• Administering and continually improving the school's student information system
• Importing students to power school and update the information based on the latest enrollment list received from Admissions
• Enrolling new students, Enrolling new student in a class, Dropping a students from a class, Pre-registering a student, Mass enrolling students in a class and Transfer out a student

Requirements:
Maintaining the parent contact information on power school and Supporting parents for various platforms like seesaw, Power school parent portal, school bookings site for parent teacher conference through email, phone or Zoom calls
• Generating and preparing report cards to be sent out to parents.
• Generating various reports such as Absence report, Grades/standards reports, Baseline reports, Late reports, Behaviour reports, teacher recommendations,Class rosters etc. based on requirements for both Elementary and Secondary
• Adding new staff to power school (Teachers, teacher assistants and other users) and managing their logins
• Adding teachers and sections on power school
• Creating and maintaining Bright arrow account/ users
• Bulk emailing to parents and students through bright arrow based on SLT's emails
• Inactivating departed teachers and students from platforms.
• Associating a co-teacher with a course section
• Adding classes to teacher schedules on power school
• Transferring out the students based
• Modifying student enrollment based
• Seesaw
• Add students to seesaw platform for new students
• Annual roll over of accounts during enrollment period(August)
• Supporting students, teachers, and parents about seesaw usage.
• Google Classroom
• Assist teachers and students with google classroom.
• Resetting google account passwords
• Updating details in Elementary credential google sheet for new students
• Roster Management
• Managebac
