Job Summary: As the Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of our products. You will oversee the quality control and assurance processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards. Your leadership will be key in driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of quality across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems and procedures to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and manage the quality assurance team, ensuring effective performance and professional development.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify and address quality issues and deviations.
• Collaborate with other departments, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee the development and execution of testing protocols and procedures for raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and areas for improvement; implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for all quality assurance activities, including compliance with internal and external audits.
• Stay current with industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and alignment with industry advancements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, HACCP, SQF) are a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in quality management within a food manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of quality assurance processes and food safety regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in quality management software and systems, as well as data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of global food safety standards such as BRC and ISO.
