JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

- Conduct thorough inspections of fire-rated doors to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement testing protocols specific to fire-rated door systems to assess their fire performance.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review specifications and ensure fire-rated doors meet project requirements.
- Document and analyze test results, providing detailed reports that highlight compliance and areas for improvement.
- Perform regular audits of manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to fire safety regulations.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related field is essential.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control within the construction or manufacturing industries, specifically with fire-rated products.
- Experience with fire door testing and compliance standards such as UL, NFPA, and ASTM is crucial.
- A strong understanding of fire protection systems and building codes related to fire safety is necessary.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
