Planning Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer to join our consulting team within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring project schedules to ensure timely completion of construction projects. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including clients, project managers, and contractors, to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.

Requirements:

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced certifications or a Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:
- 8-15 years of experience in project planning within the construction industry.
- Proven track record of handling at least 5 projects with a total value of AED 100 million or more.
- Experience in a consulting background is highly preferred.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, construction processes, and industry standards.

Knowledge:
- In-depth knowledge of construction project planning, resource management, and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards in the UAE, particularly in Ras Al Khaimah.

Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex schedules and deliverables.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, project managers, and contractors.

Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to travel regularly from the headquarters in Dubai to project locations in Ras Al Khaimah.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PMI-SP) are advantageous.

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 20,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
