Planning Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Job Description:
• Review of sub-contractor, programs, supplier’s programs, procurement timelines for long lead items and advice for incorporation in the contractor’s baseline program / tender package.
• Develop a master schedule integrating multiple packages considering their interdependencies to identify and reflect the impact of one schedule / project on others.
• Evaluate & verify the planning and scheduling information from the updated / progress schedules.
• Prepare Trackers / Logs to monitor critical issues during the Design and Construction stages of the Project.
• Validate compatibility of project resources for timely completion of the project.

About the Client:
An emerging real estate development company specializing in high-rise residential towers across the UAE.

Qualifications:
• Open to Indian and Filipino nationals
• Male, 40 years old and below
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling on relevant projects i.e. high-rise towers
• Experience in high-rise tower construction coupled with an exceptional understanding of the construction industry, including interface and coordination requirements, is required.
• Proficiency in scheduling software, particularly Primavera P6 is an added advantage
