You will play a pivotal role in the design and management of our clients' complex network infrastructure.

Description
* Develop and maintain comprehensive network architecture blueprints, including LAN, WAN, MAN, SAN, and WLAN components.
* Design, implement, and manage ISP connectivity, ensuring high availability and performance.
* Lead the design, implementation, and management of software-defined networks (SDN) infrastructure.
* Oversee the deployment and configuration of cloud networking solutions.
* Develop and implement network automation strategies using tools like Ansible and Puppet.
* Monitor and optimise network performance, including KPIs, QoS, and uptime.
* Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network alignment with business objectives.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and vendors.
* Recent experience working with large, complex organisation managing their network.
* Strong networking background with core network design and architecture expertise.
* In-depth knowledge of network protocols and configuration on Cisco and Juniper platforms.
* Hands-on experience with SDN controllers and virtualization technologies.
* Hands-on experience with cloud networking/
* Proficiency in network automation tools (Ansible, Puppet).
