JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a dependable and responsible Messenger Cum Driver to join our client ( Forwarding Company) in Abu Dhabi.
Job Responsibilities are listed here below

Document Collection and Delivery:
• Collecting delivery orders, bills of lading, invoices, and other important documents from various locations.
• Delivering these documents to clients, government offices, customs offices, and other stakeholders promptly.

Vehicle Logistics (VL) Collection:
• Collecting and delivering vehicle logistics documents, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed and filed correctly.

Customer Inspection Assistance:
• Assisting with customer inspections, particularly in regions like Abu Dhabi.
• Ensuring that all documents required for inspections are available and presented accurately.

Customs Liaison:
• Handling the submission and collection of documents required for customs clearance.
• Acting as a liaison between the company and customs officials to facilitate smooth customs processes.

Communication:
• Maintaining regular communication with the operations team, providing updates on delivery statuses and any issues encountered.
• Ensuring that clients are informed about the status of their documents or shipments.

Administrative Support:
• Assisting with basic administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry related to logistics and forwarding activities.

Vehicle Maintenance:
• Ensuring the company vehicle is maintained in good condition, including regular servicing and cleanliness.
• Keeping track of fuel usage and reporting any vehicle issues to the management.

Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensuring all activities are carried out in compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Preparing and submitting regular reports on completed tasks, routes taken, and any incidents or delays encountered.

Emergency Handling:
• Responding to urgent requests for document collection and delivery.
• Ensuring quick turnaround times for time-sensitive shipments or documents.

Customer Service:
• Providing courteous and professional service to clients during pick-ups and deliveries.
• Addressing any client queries or concerns related to the logistics services provided.

Requirements:

• Valid UAE driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a similar messenger or driver role.
• Familiarity with Abu Dhabi roads and locations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to handle packages and documents safely and securely.
• Physical fitness and stamina for lifting and moving packages.
• 2 to 3 years' experience working with Logistics/ Forwarding companies

Salary:
AED 4,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
