JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Site Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects and contribute to the successful delivery of high-profile construction initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MEP systems on construction sites, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and international standards, while maintaining high-quality workmanship and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to review MEP design plans, identify potential issues, and propose efficient solutions.
- Supervise MEP subcontractors and technicians, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to ensure the timely and accurate completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess MEP system performance, identify potential risks, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
- Prepare and review technical reports, progress updates, and documentation related to MEP activities, ensuring accuracy and transparency in communication.
- Participate in meetings, site coordination activities, and value engineering initiatives to optimize MEP processes and contribute to project efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in MEP engineering, and integrate innovative approaches into project execution.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as an MEP Engineer, preferably within the construction industry, with a strong understanding of MEP systems and building codes.
- Professional certification or licensure in MEP engineering is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret MEP design drawings, specifications, and technical documents, with proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on teamwork, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, environmental sustainability principles, and energy conservation practices related to MEP systems.
- Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented approach to work, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results in dynamic construction environments.
- Fluency in English, with Arabic language skills being a plus.

Salary:
AED 8,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
