JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Accounts Head to lead our modern trade business in the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing strategic partnerships, and managing key accounts in the UAE-Dubai region.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the modern trade segment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Lead and mentor a team of account managers to drive performance and meet business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
- Negotiate terms and agreements with key accounts to drive mutual business growth and profitability.
- Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and product visibility in modern trade outlets to optimize sales and maximize ROI.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate sales performance, market insights, and recommendations to the leadership team.

Requirements:
- Proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and driving sales in the modern trade segment within the FMCG industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key accounts and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and analytical mindset to identify growth opportunities, develop business plans, and make data-driven decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of the UAE-Dubai market, including consumer preferences, retail landscape, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is a plus.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in key account management or sales leadership roles, with a strong network in the modern trade segment.
- Proficiency in using sales management software, MS Office, and data analytics tools to track performance and generate insights.
