JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
- Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and blueprints for interior design projects.
- Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and translate concepts into visual representations.
- Ensure that all drawings are accurate, complete, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct site visits and measurements to gather necessary data for drafting purposes.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to incorporate technical and structural elements into designs.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to contribute innovative ideas to the design process.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Interior Design Draftsman or similar role within the fitout / Interior Design industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
- Solid understanding of construction and interior design principles.
- Ability to interpret and visualize design concepts effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the UAE is an advantage.
- A portfolio showcasing previous drafting work and design projects is preferred.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 7,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
