JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
We are seeking a professional and customer-oriented Hostess and Waitress to join our team in the vibrant hospitality industry in UAE-Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant or hotel.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
- Take and serve food and beverage orders with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in order taking and delivery.
- Answer guest inquiries and make recommendations as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining and service areas.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and quality service.
- Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Adhere to all company and industry food safety and hygiene standards.
- Upsell menu items and promote special offers to enhance guest experience and revenue.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Hostess and Waitress in a high-volume restaurant or hotel environment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including wine and cocktail recommendations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail and a professional appearance.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic math skills for order processing and payment handling.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene is a plus.
- Fluency in English is essential, with additional language skills considered an advantage.
Salary:
AED
2,800 to 3,500
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
