Job Description

Key Responsibilities (Home Science)

- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet educational standards and the needs of all students.
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons on topics such as nutrition and dietetics, food science, clothing and textiles, resource management and human development
- Conduct practical classes that allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world situations, such as cooking, textile techniques (Block Printing, Tie and Dye, Batik), consumer awareness.
- Evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and practical assessments, providing constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Participate in the development and improvement of the home science curriculum to ensure it remains current and relevant.
- Provide academic and personal guidance to students, helping them with any challenges related to the subject.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in teaching or relevant field.
- A minimum of 4-5 years' experience as a teacher.
- In-depth knowledge of teaching methods and legal educational procedures.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Well-organized with excellent leadership abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
