JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE
The Company
Robert Half are working with a company based in Dubai, looking for a Head of Data Science, Quant Research & Equity Portfolio Manager professional with 10+ years' experience preferably working with established investment management institutions.
The Role
* This is a multi-faceted position that requires solid business acumen along with hands-on technical expertise.
* Among the responsibilities of this position are understanding and converting business data including but not limited to investments into visual models that can be used by stakeholders to make informed business decisions.
* Analyzing existing Excel models and transforming them into optimized web applications.
Requirements:
The CandidateA professional who can establish a centralized data warehouse, connect existing and new data sources, model and make the data accessible in real-time and automatically via well-known interactive visualization tools.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with top executives as well as lower level employees
* Strong track record of working with visualization tools such as PowerBi, Tableau etc.
* Well versed with AI and ML techniques
* In depth experience of working with Python, R, SQL, Data Warehouse, Azure ETL tools
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
* Solid presentation skills
* Strong analytical and organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
* Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically
* Minimum 10 years' experience with strong exposure to asset management/investment advisory industry
Salary and Benefits
80,000-90,000 AED per month, plus company benefits
