Finance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

DUBZ is a technology start-up founded in 2016. A niche was identified in enhancing the experience of travellers by providing a convenient home and hotel baggage collection and delivery service that can be booked online 24 hours a day. In 2016, Dubz was selected as a winner of Intelak, the aviation and travel incubator program co-founded by the Emirates Group, GE, and Dubai Tourism to nurture travel technology entrepreneurship in the UAE.

As a Finance Manager you will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and have the ability to ensure the company's financial stability and growth. You will be responsible for managing the financial health of the organization, providing strategic financial advice, and overseeing all financial operations.

In this role, you will

- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets
- Analyse financial performance, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial report
- Accounting and Financial Reporting
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Coordinate internal and external audits, consolidation of financial statement tax compliance
- Cash Flow Management
- Monitor and manage the company's cash flow and liquidity, status of receivable
- Develop strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital
- Risk Management
- Identify financial risks, develop strategies, ensure compliance with all financial regulations / standards both internal and external
- Team Leadership
- Effective leadership and department coordination
- Strategic Planning
- Collaborate closely with the CEO and the board on strategic planning / decision-making

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience
- To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field and 5 years of experience in finance management
- Have strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

- CPA Qualified
