Employment: Full Time

Salary 40-60,000 AED Plus Flights & Medical

International Engineering Consultancy that have a niche within concrete & structural repairs for Major Projects across the MENA region. This business is entering an exciting growth phase.

We are seeking a strong Structural Engineer that has managerial skills to lead a department whilst having the soft people skills to deal with clients front end.

You will be based in the Dubai Office 20 Minutes drive from the Palm Jumeriah. Reporting directly into the European Regional Director for the group.

This is a global organization that employs over 4,000 Staff worldwide whilst turning over 3 Billion AED.

A small project could be worth 15,000 AED whilst a standard piece at 50 Million AED

• This person will be flexible with travel to sites to meet clients needs and wishes to hit business targets. He or she will have the strength within civil & structural engineering to add value at pre & post contract award.
• This person will roll the sleeves up and lead from the front setting the example as a real leader.

This person maybe presenting to a client in the morning and then handling calculations and finite elements for designs in the afternoon. This person wont only be desk bound so confidence and presentation skills are key !

Requirements:

Role & skills needed

• Strong communication & presentation skills needed
• Arabic is an advantage but not essential
• Years relevant experience is sought
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) or an equivalently recognized
• Master’s or PhD degree in civil or structural engineering
• Advanced knowledge of concrete deterioration mechanisms
• Clear Experience of concrete repair design
• Able to problem solve , think outside the box and have proactive solutions to design & engineering challenges
• Clear strength handling BIM, REVIT & AUTOCAD
• SAP2000 , RISA & STAAD
• Methodical & analytical in your approach to work

• There will be a Lump Sum Package range of 40-60,000 AED Per Month

AED 40,000 to 60,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
