We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in meat processing equipment to join our team and support our operational excellence.

Job Description:
Position Overview: The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing electrical systems and equipment within our food processing facility. This role requires in-depth knowledge of meat processing equipment and electrical systems to ensure efficient and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems related to meat processing equipment, including conveyors, grinders, slicers, and mixers.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical components to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely manner to prevent production disruptions.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement improvements and upgrades to electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with industry safety standards and regulations specific to food processing.
• Document maintenance activities, system performance, and any issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
• Assist with the installation, commissioning, and calibration of new electrical systems and equipment for meat processing.
• Stay informed about advancements in electrical technology and industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in a food manufacturing environment, with a focus on meat processing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, machinery, and troubleshooting techniques related to meat processing.
• Familiarity with industry-specific safety and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to work closely with various departments and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic and testing tools.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems in a food processing context.
• Knowledge of automation systems used in meat processing.
• Certification or training related to electrical system safety and compliance.
