Electrical Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the electrical systems and equipment on high-rise construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. As an Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in project planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems, contributing to the successful completion of high-profile construction projects.

Responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment for high rise construction projects.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Collaborating with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop comprehensive electrical plans and designs.
- Conducting feasibility studies and cost estimates for electrical installations and upgrades.
- Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budget constraints.
- Performing regular inspections and quality checks to identify and resolve electrical issues and deficiencies.
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to project teams and subcontractors on electrical engineering matters.
- Conducting risk assessments and implementing safety measures to prevent electrical hazards and ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working on high rise construction projects, with a strong understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism in all aspects of work.

Salary:
AED 11,000 to 13,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
