JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

Our Client is a Large retail business in the Middle East. They work with well-known retail brands from the US and Europe. Role is based in Dubai, UAE and right now, they're Looking for a Designer (Womenswear).

Job Responsibilities:

* Identify and interpret market trends while maintaining the brand's design signature.
* Create mood boards for seasonal collections.
* Translate trends into commercially viable lingerie designs.
* Create detailed design specs including patterns, materials, and construction.
* Collaborate on seasonal forecasting of color, trend, and fabric direction.
* Maintain the quality and craftsmanship that the label is known for.
* Constant monitoring of sales reports for insights on style, color, styling, and fabric.
* Select appropriate fabrics to meet margins, quality standards, and delivery windows.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
* Liaise with pattern makers on fit samples, sealers, and production.
* Ensure styles meet acceptable standards before they go to buying.

Requirements:

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
* 5+ years in Womenswear or intimate apparel design.
* Proficiency in design software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Coreldraw.
