Cost Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Cost Estimator Engineer Assistant to join our team in the solar sector. Key Responsibilities
- Acquire understanding of the customer requirements of the project or program at hand.
- Responsible for the Project’s Deliverables such as: Reports, Cost Estimates, Layouts. Etc.
- Professional with in-depth experience in doing detailed BOQ based costing and estimation exercises for small and large-scale ground mounted and/or rooftop solar power plants with varying design basis/ criteria.
- Select metrics to produce valid estimates
- Review documents or consult experts to collect all necessary data
- Analyze data and produce forecasts
- Perform Risk analysis
- Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project
- Prepare cost, time- and resource estimates to inform the wider project planning
- Prepare reports detailing all the costs going into a project
- Act as a connection between sub-contractors, procurement & design team (architects, engineers, consultants and client)
- Prepare detailed reports or bids for submission to appropriate parties
- Input cost data into Company database
- Notice differences between estimated cost and actual cost
- Establish and foster relationships to key vendors
- Demonstrate high safety focus and awareness.
- Preparation of Bill of quantity (BOQs) for Prebid estimations.
- Preparing cost benefit analysis for various project/ design options & supporting Project/ BD and Sales team to expedite techno-commercial proposals and closures.

Requirements:

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
