JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a Business Process Specialist to lead a in the design, development, and implementation of the policies and procedures for our new Airline Revenue Accounting System (EmRAS). Through a thorough understanding of business processes, policies, and procedures the role holder works with stakeholders both within and outside of Finance to support in the full design of the EmRAS for airline revenue accounting. Ensure that the system successfully supports in providing financial data, insights, and analytics for the Group, and complies with governance and compliance requirements.

In this role, you will:

- Participate in the EmRAS design workshops to ensure all requirements are gathered and included in the design.
- Act as the central point of contact between Finance and the business for design queries linked to processes and policies to ensure the value to the organisation is maximised from the new system/tool.
- Develop the 'as-is' and 'to be' process maps, processes and policies and ensure these are fully communicated to both Finance and the business while incorporating best practice.
- Coordinate the collection and signoff of all process maps, policies, and procedure documents for the project.
- Ensure that an appropriate financial control environment exists in the new system.
- Work closely with the EmRAS software supplier and implementation partner to ensure the project documentation remains on track and provide weekly status updates on progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Develop the change management action plan for relevant departments and ensure all stakeholders across the Emirates operations are taken along the EmRAS journey through executing change management activities that drive engagement in the new system.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:

- Finance & Insurance/Systems & Procedures : 5+ Years
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent)
- Degree or equivalent, plus relevant professional experience i.e. MBA or Qualified Accountant.
- Project Management qualification would be desirable.
- Experience within a medium or large Airline Finance department.

You'll have an edge if you have:

- Extensive Knowledge of Airline Revenue Accounting processes.
- The ability to partner with the business and a range of stakeholders and be able provide solutions and guidance on best practices.
- Experience in documenting complex program documents, including process maps, procedures, and policies.
- Experience in implementing complex and innovative finance solutions which require a significant program and change management.
- Ability to problem solve with good project management, time management and people skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office and Process Mapping software (Visio, Blueworks etc) would be advantageous.
