Assistant Manager, SME Analytics

Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for monitoring business performance, financial KPIs at product and segment level and providing actionable analytical insights by conducting regular customer analysis, enhance understanding of customer portfolio, monitor changes in customer behaviours and identify opportunity for cross-selling or any triggers for potential customer attrition

Principal Accountabilities:

- Responsible for developing and delivering insightful analysis and dashboards for SME segment across all products and Liabilities products across all segments by incorporating key performance measures and indicators.
- Abreast senior leadership on a regular basis on the health of the business and any early waning indicators.
- Track and monitor key performance metrics such as profitability, cross sell ratios, channel usage, balance movement, product insights with the objective of identifying predictable and sustainable business decision processes.
- Identify customers with cross-sell opportunities for FX, Trade and Loans - share the details with respective RMs. Monitor the cross-sell performance on a monthly basis.
- Analyse customer behaviour, identify trends and patterns. Makes and implements recommendations through the use of data analysis and segmentation methodologies.
- Conduct customer analysis, enhance understanding of customer portfolio, monitor changes in customer behaviours and identify opportunity for cross-selling and services enhancement.
- Monitor business performance, financial KPIs and segment movement on customer and channel level
- Develop business insights with market research, competitor benchmarking & ongoing customer portfolio study.
- Monitor RM performances and portfolio movements against the segment and RM KPIs. Highlight any risks in terms of segment performance as compared to budget.
- Track and review of fee lines on a monthly basis and identify any gaps from fee schedules.
- Transform the analytic insights into understandable and actionable recommendations and then communicate them effectively across the organization.
- Supporting ongoing reporting requirements and ad-hoc analysis requirements from stakeholders
- Simplify and automate management reporting process to reduce close cycle time by creating, managing and providing various daily, monthly, quarterly, annual reports to the management/departments/branches.
- Provide interactive dashboards with an instant access to information to monitor measure and manage business performances. Interact and understand the requirements, design, collate and disseminate information and analysis to the business leaders and management.
- Perform regular customer and product profitability analysis and support the stakeholders in making necessary changes in product features and product offerings and customer segments to focus for growth.
- Plan and execute A-B testing, test-control, and champion-challenger mechanics in campaign process for continuous improvement and better response on campaigns.
- Analyse the campaign performance, identify key insights, and share the details with business teams and ensure learning from campaigns are considered in planning for future campaigns.
- Support the Segment teams in identifying opportunities for cross-sell, up-sell to increase product per Customers
- Responsible for report rationalization and is required to participate in special department projects and assist in any other financial reporting responsibilities when required. Provide any other service as directed to support the overall functioning of the Department to commensurate with the nature of assignment.
