JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Accounts Manager to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and a proven track record in enhancing profitability while ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. This role requires excellent analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive approach to managing accounts and financial operations. As an Accounts Manager, you will play a crucial role in the trading industry, overseeing financial transactions, managing client accounts, and supporting our growth objectives.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and forecasts to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial planning processes.
- Perform regular audits of financial transactions and processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and drive operational efficiencies.
- Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes that may impact the organization.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the trading industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial analysis.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in managing a team effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 18,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
