Accountant Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant Assistant to join our team in the FMCG industry in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the accounting department in various tasks to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Record and reconcile financial transactions and ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Assist in conducting internal audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in the analysis and interpretation of financial data to support decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve processes and procedures.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant Assistant or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to a positive work environment.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
